I put some in, then a bit more just in case, Voilà I’ve cooked enough pasta for everyone in Italy.

BRIDPORT

I always eat the amount I’ve cooked so it’s spot on every time. The only downside is sometimes I’m still a bit peckish and other times I’m absolutely stuffed.

Too much mash is always the right amount... remember that you can have the excess fried up for breakfast

I bought a cool gadget once for measuring out spaghetti...there were 4 different sized holes for different numbers of people.

Not sure it worked if I'm honest lol

I've even tried those wood "gadgets" with the holes in and still don't get the right amount!

I always make pasta bake and freeze leftovers, so never worry about cooking too much. I just add more tomatoes and make a bigger dish.

There is no such thing as the wrong amount of pasta, unless you under measure. Then thats not good.

Impossible.

Although i did find out that the hole in the pasta spatula is to measure the correct amount of spaghetti per person.

The spatula hole lied.
