How much do you pay for car insurance

Just cost me £825 and at first the renewal quote was around £900, so I phoned them to say that I could get a better deal online and they asked how much? So I plucked a figure out of my head and I said £830.. Then they replied back with £825.

But why can't they ever tell me the best price!

My car insurance is more than my cars worth, having been second driver for years Iv never built up no no claims! It’s surprising when u really shop round the difference in prices.

It is surprising. One insurance company asked me over two grand.

I don't know how they work the figures out, it's as if they're just trying it on.

Just over £300 I think...I've got over 10 years no claims though because I'm a very careful driver

Between 600-650 and that's with 5 years no claims. Glad to have it though considering someone went full speed into the front of me 2 days ago and wrote my car off

I have over 10 years as well. It did go up a bit though, because I had three points for a tyre.

It went up over 500 quid infact. So I had to really shop around the time before last.

I pay £450 with full no claims and no fault accidents ever. I shop around every year, if they can’t offer their best rate from the start then they lose my business.

Well my motorbike insurance is due January.

I have 2 bikes on the policy and soon will add a third.

Considering one of them has 215bhp and cost £21k I only paid £460 last year.

And that includes full value if bikes are stolen or written off.

But I do have an advanced license and full no claims.

Never had points

Mine creeps up a bit each year and when I phone them to complain they drop the price.

I hate that. Just wish they would give me their best price in the first place.

You lot are cheap. Feel like I'm getting robbed, but I couldn't find any cheaper.

About £550 I think. It's special dizzy insurance because regular insurance companies can't fathom adapted cars. Includes wheelchair insurance not only for day chairs but also my basketball chair if it's in the car
