I enjoy working from home so much I found a new role which is permanently working from home.

I don’t socialise much, if at all with colleagues, so works well for me.

I like it but miss the occasional travel , I used to go into London once a month maybe for lunch and a catch up. I really miss international travel though and all the adventures, photography, shopping but am having to adjust

I can't work from home but one of my housemates does and listening to him, some days he likes it and other days he misses the routine of getting up and heading into work as opposed to rolling out of bed and turning his laptop on.

I hate it. I'm far less productive and my job is far harder at home. I'm currently in the office 2 days a week, 3 days at home. It's a pain juggling the work and remembering which email I've used, usually finding I've used the one I can only access from the office.

I just do everything for work on my iPhone now using , email, Teams, WhatsApp , calendar , phone, very rarely need to switch a computer on

You can view all office files sent as attachments and if one needs editing I will ask someone to share their screen on Teams and tell them what changes to make. Occasionally I’ll login to create a report or budget from scratch

Prefer working from home, but am just not disciplined enough to do it effectively.

Anything and everything distracts me.

I enjoy having no commute and not having to get dressed up for work so extra hour in bed. I’m more productive at home as i know once I get through the work I can have some me time.

I do miss some of my workmates though but keeping in touch with emails and phone calls

Wake up, masturbate, have a coffee and start working. No distractions

I love working from home - currently on a job hunt for something that will allow me to do it permanently.

I find I'm more productive without constant distractions in the office, and I like being able to get bits of life admin done in breaks (washing etc) which frees up my off time.

As long as I work at my desk rather than from the sofa or anything I have no problem separating work and personal time.

I think a lot of people have clicked with it and will be pushing to work from home permanently from now on.

This /\

I also kind of miss the commute, or rather the chance to read a book or watch tv.

I like WFH, but also enjoy the social side of going into the office once or twice a week. It's a good balance

I prefer being in work but so many are 'working from home' but doing sod all it's just a piss take.

I’ve been home based for about 10 years. It took a while to adjust but now I’d not want to go back to working in an office.

My week usually involves 2 or so days on site so wfh doesn't present any isolation issues but I am finding the pressure and stress is increased as there is no immediate outlet. I was always one for bouncing ideas and problems around the office.

I dont miss the commute and its given me the opportunity to move to the countryside.

I imagine that wfh will be common and popular for the next 12 months but think we will be looking for a different approach after that.

It's nice not having to commute and the extra time that that frees up (although I often spend that time still working ), but I miss the company of (some of) my colleagues, and the random chats in the canteen and smoking shelter

I’ve just started a meeting position that’s working from home.

Absolutely love it. Mind you, the people I used to work with were fucking annoying.

visiting the beach

I've been doing for years, and normally enjoy it. Now it's less fun.

Pre-Covid I would have visits to customers/partners or our offices at least once a week to break it up. Without that element it's a bit bleak.

It is a love and hate thing. I usually work in an open plan office with a lot of people, so you have a lot of noise and interruptions that made it hard to focus on my work. Working from home has the advantage that I have a more or less quite room, but there is no one else around to have a chat or a quick cup of tea or coffee. I really miss the social interaction

Too true, you have people working their butt off and others who are just coasting .

Just wish there was a hottie down the road who could pop in now and again

I've always worked from home as I have a sales agency business, but the difference now is that I'm doing a lot of business from home, as distinct from calling on customers.
