Hi everyone long time reader first time poster!

I get that this is a woman’s market but honestly some of the profiles are borderline aggressive! A long list of rules, do’s and don’t’s, long rants about dick pics and how messages have to be unique and individual and carefully thought through.. it’s hard from a mans perspective.. do I dare put a dick pic on, should I spend 15 mins per message only for it to get deleted without being read? There’s some fantastic women on here and I love you all, but please won’t someone think of the men? After all without us this site wouldn’t be half as good. (For some of you anyway!) love and hugs x x

The so called aggressive profiles are that way to put of the chancers, bullshitters and numpties. You do know its not compulsory to mail a profile you view.

Yep I agree. Once I see...Read the profile now I skip said profile. I’m bound not to be what they are looking for so on to the next which is usually the same

I do understand the mans point but also understand the womens point where no matter what she puts on the profile 8 out of 10 times its not even read. So then you get messages that you reply to say no thank you when they've not bothered to read. Then they send abuse saying you're a timewaster etc because you don't want to meet them!!

And then comes the realisation that you're seen as fuck all more than a wet hole to many.

That despite you politely mentioning your preferences or whatnot, that well, it doesn't matter to many men folk. YOUR requests don't matter, you're not a human, you're a hole.

So then comes the defensive from the woman, then comes the standing the fuck up for the themselves at the first port of call and saying "NO, I will not accept any less than I deserve, not even as a woman..... but as fucking human"

I guess it depends whether you choose to view such profiles as being "demanding" or "giving you clear indications of what they're looking for so you have something to work with if you think you match up" OP.

Ultimately though why worry about how others have laid out their profile? You basically have two choices, find them appealing, comply with their wishes or find them unappealing and move on to one that is more appealing to you.

Tbh some ppl are picky and that's just life, you scroll and move on. In terms of individual msgs, I have a standard introduction message. But yea, just see which profiles suit you and thus take it from there I guess and follow the rules of the profile.

Some of the demanding profiles I've come across do make me laugh.

As previously mentioned by the OP, you get the huge list of what Greek God like beings the profile is looking for but the profile photo's completely contradict what she seeks.

Nailed it. That’s exactly what happened with me, and every single bad meet or shitty experience has added to it. However, none of it is unreasonable and decent people won’t find it hard at all. Also, if people read through the “aggressive”, “demanding” part, they’ll get to the friendly, approachable part.
