favourite subway sandwich...

Newcastle and Gateshead

some shouted they were going to drive to subway to get lunch, and what followed was a tons of people with their different combo's asking to get one....

so whats your favourite...

my "go to" sandwich is meatball marinara on honey oat... red onions, green peppers and bbq sauce......

Actually TBH I dont like any fast food, whether it is KFC, MacD, Subway... whatever - the stuff to me tastes like cardboard plus additives...

When ever I've been in there has always been a snotty 'sandwich technician' digging in the food with polly bags on his hands and it puts me off. I would much rather buy from big Brenda at the corner shop who does them out the back where I can't see what she is up to.

I have never had a Subway either! In this town, my mate Dave has a great sandwich bar where I can get stuff not heard of in Subway, let alone on the very restricted menu!

But, my favourite from Dave's place is a Granary Baguette with griddled bacon and mushrooms then covered in Brie and topped with two fried eggs! It's very healthy cos it is on a granary baguette!

6in Italian Herb and Cheese bread, with Italian B.M.T., with extra bacon and double cheese, toasted, with all the salads, including jalapeños, with either garlic mayo or Caesar dressing.

Love subway.. I always have a steak and cheese 6" on weat with extra cheese toasted.. With just a little lettuce, red onion and gurkins with a sweet onion sauce mmmmm I want one now

Subways are awful for you , don't be believe the advertising ! Macdonalds is just healthy, the same way 2 Macdonalds cheeseburgers are healthier than a Macdonalds salad !

Totally agree with you there - disagree with the stuff on MacD - they are just better at marketing. None of the fast food stuff should be part of our diet. It is one reason why the nation is getting diabetes ...

Turkey and ham, lettuce, cucumber and tomato and a low fat dressing on preferable brown roll. Have discovered though I like roll warmed up with cheese, now that was quite nice
