This is a valid point.

If I visit a profile & after reading I don't fit with the requirements I don't trouble the person with an unwanted message.

if someone looks at us and then doesn't message or wink we assume that they aren't interested in what they saw. We wouldn't contact them

Well I must be the minority as I often repeatedly look and read but won’t wink or fab on profiles I’m interested in but don’t have the time or headspace to pursue yet

I ignore. If they want to meet me, they would message. Also, a "hot" body viewing your profile doesn't mean you will want sex with them after seeing their face or chatting?

I wouldnt read too much in to it.

Sometimes people look and it doesn't feel like the right fit

Sometimes they're just being nosey

Sometimes they might be interested but a 1001 things get in the way and no contact is made.

Plus as others have said you can always initiate contact

Such an underrated quality to have. If i had a pound for every profile i read and opted out I'd be up a few hundred quid lol
