Everyone is in except one Couple so can't do anything till they return.
Working my last week here before redundancy starts on Sunday.
Are you getting laid off? "Yes, hotel is struggling really badly. But survived through lockdown, then through 1st phase of redundancies. Owners offered either 8 shifts a month but only on pro-rata pay (not salaried), which meant drop in take-home pay of 63%, or Redundancy. I chose latter; I'd finance contingency plans in place, so Mortgage etc all paid off. I'm not worried. This employer has been best ever and their redundancy package shows they are looking after me. | |||
