Just uodated Gmail and they've changed the icon to a horrible multi-coloured 'M'. My day is now ruined

I use Hotmail but use the Gmail app. to get my emails from Hotmail. I also found that I can have a Google account without creating a Gmail address

Perhaps it was always coloured,it just "blushed" red as pointy fingers pointed to them not paying taxes..

Perhaps it was always coloured,it just "blushed" red as pointy fingers pointed to them not paying taxes.. "

I preferred it when it looked like an envelope with the red 'M'. Now it doesn't fit in with all my other icons
