Hi everyone, as a UK size 10 in gents shoes. Could anyone recommend how I work out what size I'd need in a pair of ladies heels? Thanks in advance!

I’ve just Googled “uk men’s size 10 female equivalent shoe size” and it gave me the answer.

Dead easy that one... Size 10, same as you would in gents shoes.

However, here's a good tip...

If you are looking at wearing really high heels you might be better going a half size, possibly full size up. This is because the foot gets thrown forward in the shoe so having a slightly larger show can help comfort wise.

Umm ... There's a difference between men's & women's sizes?

Is there, no wonder I struggled to walk in them.

Appreciate you getting back to me! This'll be my first pair, so won't be too high! Though I don't expect I'll be walking to far in them...

As long as closed toe and you arent gunna be showing them off to too many try cellotaping your third and fourth toe together. It's some witchcraft or something but it stops your feet hurting so much xx

"Umm ... There's a difference between men's & women's sizes? "

There is in some countries. Not in the UK.

OP, women's shoes tend to be narrower (I have wide ish feet and sometimes prefer to opt for men's where I can)

Yep

Also, annoyingly, sizes vary a bit from shop to shop. A size 10 shoe from Yours is smaller than a size 10 from Evans.

Good luck in your quest OP!

No idea (S) speaking here. You might get some tips though watching the movie 'kinky boots'.
