vain or self pride.

Whenever you are meeting friends for drinks or a meet for fun.

Do you still like to take time getting ready so you look nice or do u not care?

Reason why I'm asking some don't care and moan about it and say I feel dowdy or noone will meet me blah blah

I would rather get ready look nice wherever I'm going a I like to make an effort

So how many think its self pride and not vain?

You have to make an effort if someones meeting you. You can be casual smart though. So I'd say its a pride thing with good manners

Ive gone to the supermarket with no make up and looking dowdy but I always do my make up and hair for work and going out socially.

i always make a effort when going for a meet, long shower or bath trim body hair, shaved pubic hair and iron clothes always well dressed

If I'm going out somewhere, pub or for food, I don't like having no make up on... not so bothered for going shopping.

If a mate (even a playmate) is coming over to watch a film or sommit, I don't always bother. It's nice to be comfortable enough with someone at home not to go overboard.... but for a proper 'meet' I would enjoy getting ready and made up.

I always spend some time making myself presentable, it shows I have mad an effort for who ever we are meeting and we care enough about what they think.

If i was meeting someone for a drink or for sex i would make the same effort to look nice be it the first time we have met or the 20th, if i liked them enough to meet them that anount of times i like them enough to look nice for them

I always make an effort even if I'm just going to the shops, as others have said you never know who you're likely to meet and I like to feel as if I look half way decent just for myself.

I have been in the queue at Tescos behind people wearing pyjamas and slippers

It's ceratinly not vain just to make the most of yourself.

For me, and I'm sure others would say the same whether chaps or ladies, all of that time spent getting ready is self assuring, it's you time, time to make yourself feel good. When you feel good your confidence soars and that's what people find attractive.

It is pride in oneself and there's not enough of it ... be proud.

That's like me and I'm lucky enough to know some guys who still come back for more having seen me first thing in the morning. Not sure why they keep saying they need to go specsavers tho

I love looking and feeling good, and getting ready is usually a pampering for me, so I really do love getting ready for a trip, even if it's just half an hour or so. I like to look good for myself, it's another way of shining, and it's even better when others love it too.

Plus, added bonus, may get fucked round the back of a pub etc, if the right attention gets paid.

Feeling good, we know we deserve it

For me it is not about spending hours in front of the mirror but I do think its nice to smell and be clean and fresh, put a bit of lippy on and maybe a touch of mascara plus some feminine clothes (could be tight jeans and an even tighter Tee..;-)
