Anyone watching the UFC tonight? There’s been some great fights. You blink you’ll have missed some of the KO’s they’ve been that quick. Nice for a PPV to be worth the money for once!

I didn’t want any spoilers so I stumped up the money to watch it live. Better value than the Premier league games this season at least

It was a very good co-main event and main event. Very technical

Agreed, I like Whittaker and Cannonier but glad Whittaker got the win as a rematch with Adesanya should be good if he mixes his game up better this time around.

Im not surprised, particularly after his father has died. Respect to the champion, im gutted he has retired.

Ah I loved this card even the prelims were good.. khabib retiring was emotional but tbh theres no one left to prove himself to except gsp or tony

fighters never retire.

they always comes back for a massive payday.

even mayweather who retired with a perfect record fought mcgregor and a jap kick boxer in mickey mouse contests.

Mirfield

Hes not thinking straight at the moment, there will always be question marks over if he could have beaten tony and if he or GSP was the no.1 GOAT. In time that will linger in his mind and he will return to answer those questions. A true fighters mentality never dies. And khabib is a true fighter.

Khabib has a lot more morals than the likes of Mayweather and McGregor. I hope he stays retired now he’s made the decision and doesn’t come out for a big payday

khabib is an entirely different animal.... you would be skeptical if a fighter said they were retired, but as soon as he said it i was not surprised....

he and his father always said he would retire at 30-0 anyway, but with as close as he was to his dad... i think he is done!

like i said the only fight i think he would ever want is the GSP fight... but neither of them would go running after the other just for the payday

his dad was his driving force to get to that 30-0. He’s proved enough now and doesn’t need to stay in the game after dominating. No one is touching his record in MMA bar Jon Jones but he’s always got the PEDs hanging over his record

+ it was visibly clear that after the knee surgeries and his opponents always targeting his lead leg its very weak, he was falling on it since first round

dana in the press conference has apparently just said that his trainer told him khabib broke his foot in training and was in hospital 3 weeks ago and they never told anyone! that might explain this....
