Name some really good films that involve the sea, nautically inspired plots, but are also a good watch.

Ah ha! A fellow Clive Cussler fan?

Down Periscope is a good film, good 90’s comedy cast and a half decent plot as well.

Lost and found by Oliver Jeffers. It’s a children’s book, now a short film.

I’m not a big nautical or sea film fan but this is just a sweet watch, and still makes me cry. Mainly because my son cried the first time he watched it x

"The Lost Continent 1968"

I love this film!

Forget killer tomatoes from outer space, this has pirates, descendants of Spanish Conquistadores, murderous crustaceans and killer sea!

Not sure about Hunter Killer vs Crimson Tide - HK is OK, but CT is a great film.
