Soap or shower gels ?

Soap is one of the best things that cleans your body but can also look like fruit or cake, soap was first discovered in 1976 by Sir Terry Soap when he got the idea wind surfing. You can often smell soap on the high street if Lush have got there doors open, my favourite soap is the ones that have the correct ph balances that are kind to my skin, experts warn that soap in a squeezy bottles are still along way off, men’s soap is named after abstract concepts like cool sport turbo or some shit, women’s soap is named after lovely tangible things like lavender pond with a tint of rosebud.

Soap has recently come to the forefront of our lives again because now we have to wash our hands for 20 seconds, many people panic bought soap and left none for other people, this is known as being a selfish bellend’.

What’s your favourite soap, do you stick all the little soaps together and make one big soap, then mould it into funny shapes, have you dropped a bar of soap in the showers, or maybe you prefer shower gels ?!

For years I used either Shield or Zest but changed to shower gel about 5 or 6 years ago out of convenience more than anything

Can't remember the last time I bought a bar of soap for me.

I use Wright’s traditional soap with coal tar fragrance.

In contradiction to your date of 1976 it says on the packet that they have been established since 1860

Sanex gel for my body. Cerave for my face. Liquid soap for hands I love the smell of bars of soap but don’t feel they are hygienic

I use coconut oil bubble bath as a shower gel. But back in the 60's and 70's before shower gel. Carbolic soap.

original source mint gel... yes that stuff is amazing my favourite... not to keen on their samphire source, kind of smells like turps/paint thinner. ...

I use a mix of soaps and gels together, soap first then gel for fragrance

Shower gel definitely. Feels cleaner and smells nicer / more manly I feel. Not used an actual bar of soap in a long time.
