Just wondering the general view on etiquette of photos.

My profile lays down that I feel it is fair that any person in any photo taken should be offered the choice of retaining a copy of that photo.

I received a very strongly worded pm outlining exactly what type of lower life form and deviant I am for suggesting I might have a photo of me in a sexual act that contains another person. This member does have photos clearly indicating many independent meets on their profile.

I have participated where retaining a copy was not an option, but that was my choose to continue knowing that.

Am I actually out of line, being male and wanting to retaining a copy?

As far as I'm aware you are legally required to give the person who's in the photograph a copy. If you are in the picture you are perfectly within your legal rights to keep a copy of it.

Legality aside, this is that I have the audacity to ask for the choice to keep a copy.

Everyone deserved their own opinion on the matter including the member that contacted me.

I was just wondering how wide spread that view is within the general member base.

If it's agreed that everyone gets a copy then fair enough.

We take pics and vids of our fun and ALWAYS ask if it's ok.

Our private stuff stays private unless otherwise agreed it's to be edited and shared.

Glasgow

I always thought (& I may well be wrong) that technically the person who took a photo owns it??

In any case... And pics of me during "fun" wont be given to anyone else who is in them until I have edited faces and anything else that could identify anyone

As far as I know you are spot on there. I always think if you agree to appear in a photo you know what you are letting your self into. If in doubt you just dont agree to it.
