Combe Martin

I have recently stumbled across a very close family members profile (female).

Do I say something to her? (which would of course expose myself. I've managed to keep my lifestyle choices secret for more years than I care to remember)

Or do I say nothing

Just out of interest - what would you hope to achieve by saying something?

Assuming she hasn't already found your profile...

Rochester, Kent

I’d just leave it.

Would you want her to say something to you, if she recognised you?

I agree it’s a tricky one

Up North

She may have been doing it for years as well and tries to avoid the same attention that you do.

"I guess it's just the Mothering instincts in me (No it's not my daughter)"

That's a tough one depends if you want to keep her safe or want your own privacy protected

Understand the mothering side but at the end of the day she'll do what she wants. You wouldn't want her to be annoyed at you or start avoiding talking/being around you out of embarrassment etc. Definitely block and don't think about it

Leave her to her life choices and continue with your own.

If you block her, won't that appear on her block list and pique her interest? Personally, I would just ignore.

Why on earth would you want to say anything? You value your privacy as you say so why not value hers?

As you have wanted to keep your situation very confidential for years, you'd probably need to reassess whether there is anything different now and specifically with this 1 person. If there's not, you could block her, knowing that you could always change that in future.

It's probably more likely that those of us who have been here for years are likely to stay longer than a new user, who may find the site less to her liking. She may be gone in the blink of an eye, saving you from the issue of disclosure

Personally if she hasn't seen your profile on here or even spoken to you off the site my advice would be just leave it and ifucking she does say anything im sure you are both adult enough to discuss it .Good luck

Not judging but wouldnt have started a forum thread that she could stumble on if worried about her discovering you. If not worried dont really see the problem, you can advise her better than anyone.

'tween PontyCarlo & CasVegas in West Yorks

I echo the above. I found my sister and her hubby on here and blocked straight away and haven't even contemplated speaking to her about it as no good will come of it x
