Chocolate in the Freezer

I recently got told off by a friend for having a Terry's chocolate orange in my freezer? What's wrong with that and how are you meant to get the crunch otherwise?

As a diabetic I’m 1,000% with you on this but no one else in the family agree but with me it’s the fridge not freezer and it’s the same for all drinks even in winter.

Its not good for chocolate to get too cold it spoils the flavour and can bloom.

May I ask what connection diabetes has with the temperature of refined sugar ?

Or is it to limit consumption?

I occasionally enjoy chocolate from the freezer, a frozen curly wurly is delicious. I also keep fig rolls in the freezer.

But seriously it's ill-advised to store chocolate in a fridge as it absorbs the other fridge contents aromas and taste's

Will get dressed next time I run out in the garden and wrestle with the dog over a chocolate orange. What must my neighbours think?
