"I got a rice cooker and I now regret the last 20 years of my life using a saucepan What do you regret" Why, what’s better about it? I do my rice in a pan, 1 cup o rice, 2 cups of water, Chuck in a handful of frozen veg and a stock pot and simmer for 20mins. Spoon it out into a hot pan with a splash of olive oil. Stir fry for a few mins adding in a little 50/50 mix of soy&terryaki and done. Is the rice cooker just quicker? I haven’t used one so that’s why I ask. | |||

I do a different type of sticky rice. 1 cup Jasmin rice 1 cup water bring to the boil. Turn off the heat and put a lid on for 10 mins when I take it off it makes the most amazing simple sticky rice | |||
