Honestly imo id rather see this than a generic cock pic. Ots certainly different Im not eager to be hunting for hook ups so if someone likes me for who i am from my interactions in the forums im sure they can look past a mere profile pic lol

The main pic is just cos im not someone who gives a fuck i dont take this site seriously and when socialising online a good few ppl think im an asshole for my opinions.. and always without actually deliberately trying to offend ppl lol

The one thing I learned a long time ago, when I enjoyed my alcohol, is when everyone is laughing at you not with you, it is time to seriously think about what you are doing. Agree with the above posters...think you're trying too hard to seem standoffish/rude/above people. This may not actually be you and I can understand your supposed logic behind it. But the people that you want to talk to, who you want them to see you for you, their first impression of you is more likely going to be negative because of the profile. Good luck

So as ive said before.. the only ppl im interested in pleasing are those who take the time to know me better based on what theyve seen of me in public and our interactions, and look past my bare naked profile and "rude" profile pic.. hence why i stick to the forums than profile searching and inboxing. And tbh.. ppl on this site are rude without deliberately trying to be. Id rather be rude on purpose than disrespectful through ignorance or being judgemental

And thats why first impressions can be very wrong most times. Which is why i dont try to sell myself based on first impressions regardless if i tried to sell myself or not.

Im certainly not cocky.. i know my limits and i dont act like i can get whatever i wanted. Arrogant.. far from it, im open minded, understanding, empathetic...

Regarding what my bio says, its true.. you dont review an item from a shop by looking at it through the window.. you do so after having purchased it and tested it out for yourself. Ofc you can make the claim that you buy an item from looking at it in the window but thats mostly based on looks. The advert can say anything to make you buy it regardless how crap it really is.. but its the reviews you really tend to look for. How i act in the forums is my way of showing who i am as a person, not what ive carefully written for a bio as i could say anything on it that isnt a true representation of who i am

My profile saves me the hassle of trying to please ppl who will just judge me on first impressions rather than actually getting to know me properly as a person

Again.. judging at face value.. i dont have time for that hence the stance on my profile.. as i said theres method in the madness.. the right ppl will want to get to know me more through my interactions on the forum which is a better showcase of my personality than any snapshot profile can convey. And theyll look past whatever ive slapped on it. Ive recently come back to fab and im already chatting to someone whos interested in me and they live close by. So for everyone here whos given negative feedback, which is most of you i might add, you dont speak for everyone. And im not trying to please everyone..

This thread is for my own genuine curiosity to understand the thinking among this sites users.. as ive already said, human psychology fascinates me.. and maybe some other readers might find it interesting.. who knows.

Ofc i take no personal offence to whatever any of you have said or will say but i will correct you.. mostly to show you that you cant judge a book by its cover

Sadly people won't go looking through the forums to get to know you. They'll take one look at your profile and Make a judgement. I'm afraid your shop window analogy doesn't really stand up.. I'll read the advert.. Weigh the product up against alternatives, read as many reviews as possible and make an informed decision. To further the analogy, if the product has a less than favourable picture, no reviews with a badly written advert, I'm unlikely to waste my time and go straight to the alternatives.

No offence intended but youre being a little short sighted there.. meeting the right ppl takes time, and i feel many ppl, not saying the majority, just many.. are after those quick injections of joy (dopamine).. as with other sites/apps ive made connections with women through regular conversation in a public environment, a forum such as this, and a connection is made and we build a rapport.. they werent based on a snapshot profile because.. i have the same profile style on the rest of the social sites i use. So to assume that being a regular forum user and putting myself out there in that way wont get me anywhere is a false assumption.

Yes you could tell me to stick to those sites and apps and leave fab.. well that not up to you or anyone else to decide based on a profile and bio.. i use various sites for good reason. I use fab cos its a swingers site where sexual content, conversation and hookups is basically what we are here for. Ive made 'just friends' and FWBs on other sites too with the same approach as ive taken here, and the other sites/apps have either been simple chat sites or focused on dating. All of which im straight forward and honest and so far ive still met some great ppl and had more luck than some guys here actually try and still get nowhere

So to assume that being a regular forum user and putting myself out there in that way wont get me anywhere is a false assumption.

Yes you could tell me to stick to those sites and apps and leave fab.. well that not up to you or anyone else to decide based on a profile and bio.. i use various sites for good reason. I use fab cos its a swingers site where sexual content, conversation and hookups is basically what we are here for. Ive made 'just friends' and FWBs on other sites too with the same approach as ive taken here, and the other sites/apps have either been simple chat sites or focused on dating. All of which im straight forward and honest and so far ive still met some great ppl and had more luck than some guys here actually try and still get nowhere"

Why would we tell you to leave? It has nothing to do with us. As for being short sighted and wanting a quick shot of dopermine, that's is your opinion, to which you are entitled to of course. Another way of looking at it is, free time is a finite resource. We are much more likely to interact with someone whose profile engages us. In another of your threads you asked where the love was for slender guys.. Have you considered the possibility that your build isn't what's putting people off?

Well theres all sorts of ppl out there and given that i use others sites to meet ppl.. bound to be someone who will say that.. ive had that thrown at me before so i included that in my response. As for the dopamine comment.. its not an opinion its based on psychological study. As ive said human psychology fascinates me and ive learned a lot on the subject through reading and watching talks on the subject.. sites like this are a great example to show how almost everyone on this planet operates based on dopamine hits, same goes for tinder and onlyfans. Your brain gets flooded with it when you have sex, you get hots when you swipe and het matched or receive a mail in your inbox from that hot guy youve been chatting with etc. Over the years ive used fab ive observed men who clearly shows signs of depression based on a lack of sexual satisfaction..

As for your comment about my weight.. whats that got to do with this thread exactly, and why are you bringing that into this? I made that thread as i said in the first post... dont tend to see much love for the slender guys.. im happy with my weight.. i wasnt many years ago.. now i am cos ive stopped worrying about trying to ne in competition with the guys who have the money to sustain a lifestyle that allows them to get hella buff.. im unique in my own way. If some women dont find me attractive or not interested in hooking up cos my body isnt to their liking then thats not something i concern myself with

You created it to be different but it's the same in a different way. See my muscles, see my butt, see my attitude. It's like Zoolander. If following the green arrow is any illustration of your thoughts you cannot complain when the difference does not achieve your aim of results. It's akin to your being snarky about shop windows in your profile when you are actively trying to drive traffic there.

Make your mind up what you want first rather than slagging off those who are unsure at your presentation. Perhaps go erotic rather than esoteric...

Lol well should i put up pics of my car? Pretty sure fab will just take those down anyway so what am i really gonna put as my profile photos if not my body? Besides its not like i can send pics like you can on other chat apps so the point youre making there doesnt hold much weight to it.. And where am i complaining? My thread about slender guys? There have been numerous threads made and comments posted where ppl have pointed out that a certain person is being judgemental, ofc no names given as its usually about private messages that are received.. if youre gonna take that so personally then i think you need to walk away

At the moment, it doesn't even matter if your profile is dull because nobody is meeting. Women can get away with a few pretty or explicit pics as men don't bother to read our bio's anyway but when the world returns to normal and we are safe to meet again, I think your chances of connecting with such a boring profile will be low. You'll crack on anyway me thinks regardless of anybodies opinion.
