Sandwich inspiration NEEDED!

Yeah. Another trivial thread I know,but.. It's doing my head in making the same ones for work each day (tuna, mayo, spring onions and black pepper with chilli flakes, or cheese, mayo, pepper and chorizo, or if I'm particularly lacking in being arsed, cheese with some kindd of pickle).

Wow me with your simple or complicated, expensive or cheap creations you whip up for yourselves!

Please..

Dash..!

What about a nice firm sprout?

Had forgotten about bagels. Quite like, but I always get irritated by squidge wastage when I'm making them.

Tokyo Cow?!?

Is that that posh Japanese beef?

I have been getting the ham, coleslaw and mustard baguettes from waitrose recently.

Chomping away merrily and then your head gets blown off by a big dollop of English mustard.

Crafty.

Bury

Thick shoulder bacon, melted sharp cheddar and mustard pickle on sourdough.

My go-to lunch at the moment. Super easy and no real 'fresh' ingredients as I have a habit of having a go-to for a while then not touching it for weeks

Try adding lemon to your mayo in a jar. Zest of 1 lemon amd juice of 2. Then use it with chicken or ham and don't forget the rocket!

Yes! Now we're talking. Forgotten I bloody liked rocket too. Sharp peppery greens are the way to go.

Oh. Please please yes ..

Don't forget a bit of crackling too. Not too hard though. Me teeth aren't as good as they used to be.

Maldon and Peterborough

Freshly baked Bagette with bacon. Then add more bacon.

Just when you think you've got enough bacon - put more on.

Then grated cheddar (extra mature) to add an extra texture.

After Sunday dinner we used to mop up any gravy left on the plate with bread and butter when we were younger. After putting more gravy on top (of COURSE!).
