I once got up in the middle of the night on Christmas eve, hid all my younger brothers presents, replaced with some coal and a note saying "you know what you did"

I got a toy electric drum set that year

I remember one Christmas me and my brother were desperate for a Sega Megadrive but didn't ask for it cos we didn't think we would get one as they were expensive but my parents got us one as a joint present and we were beside ourselves! Can you imagine telling a child that they had to share a games console these days?

Most memorable was an Action man with a parachute. My brother decided to see how good the parachute was however we lived on 11th floor in a tower block. The parachute was a dud and my Action man never made it to Boxing day

I did something to my kids, put their presents in the dining room where the back door was. Cmas morning went into living room for their santa things and nothing there told them to check the back door to see if santa left a bag of coal then they found their presents
