To respond or not to respond ?

This seems to be the question.

A polite "no thankyou" works best done.

It's been 5 minutes since I asked the question and the OP is online because I've checked.

How rude of him not to answer.

I may make a thread about it.

In A Playspace

Penny dropped, in crap, and tried picking up without gloves, hand get messy. And lesson learned to be careful and not be a clown.

The delivery man is always good, and even though he can deliver anytime. He is welcome to come back and pick up the returns and have a coffee.

Happy to support and help where I can.

Had a good night's sleep.

That knock on the door is a reality check.

Do you contact everyone who sends a flier through your front door, just to tell them you're not interested tonight?

You might rather receive it, but you might not realise the many reasons why it's not done. If you don't realise, hopefully you're open to listening to other people's perspectives.

I really don't understand why its important to many to get a "no thank you" an unanswered or deleted is the same outcome.

So Op you’ve had loads of comments on your thread. Imagine they’re messages in your inbox, fancy replying to every comment ?

If you do, you’ll see how time consuming it is.

If you don’t, then you’re the same as everyone else and you’ll decide who you’re interested in or deserves a reply

Fuck...... that reminds me. I really should write back to Dominos. I mean ..... they offered me a pizza I don't want so it's only polite to message them to say im not buying this week, month, ever.

Well thats out of order! They took the time to send you that offer, its very rude of you to not accept that pizza and the very least you can do is say a polite thanks but no thanks.

I've been doing it since 2011. Hasn't helped. They still put the flyers through the door. Rude buggers.

It’s all well and good to reply to messages if you don’t get many.... but can you even begin to understand how long it would take for those that get bombarded with messages?

Does it? I never understand this. I don’t think my ego would be too keen on logging in to see 30 messages, all of which said some variation on “no thanks”. Do men really want an inbox full of rejection? Why?

God, you are right. I feel ashamed. I feel bad. I am going to answer right now and tell them how bad I feel and that I have changed my ways and will respond to every fucking thing I never asked for and really don't want for the rest of my life.

New me. Hoorah !

Exactly and some of the replies wouldn’t be so kind as ‘no thanks’ they may get a reply that’s rude about their appearance or lack of manhood etc...mentally it would be a nightmare.

I send a few messages, much prefer a non reply to an inbox full of reasons why they don’t find me attractive

I hope you’ll be show the same fairness to Pizza Hut and Papa Johns and San Markos Pizzas. Cant just reply to one and not everyone else. Why do only Dominos deserve a thanks but no thanks message?

It doesn’t though, cause that’s not the end of it, there’s the follow up questions, no reply is the universal no, Suck it up and move on.
