Something different like a Moto guzzi v8. 500cv v8 that reached 172mph in 1956. It was 20 years before another GP bike achieved that speed.

Or maybe a Honda 6, 250cc 6 cylinder. They were so loud that when they changed gear at the IOM TT you could hear it on the mainland if the wind was right.

My first ever bike was an mbx125 bought It new crashed in less than two hours. Got another one though had an all speed exhaust etc. Don't know why they weren't more popular, far better bike than the Rd125 all my mates had.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

Well in ma life I've had 3 cars, 1 Transit Van and 26 Motorbikes, stripped all the bikes down to every last nut and bolt, restored and rebuilt them. Spent 6 weeks touring Europe with 3 mates on a Laverda Jota in 1987.

Would love a Ducati Desmo though

The whine is due to gear driven cams. Sounds nice.

I still have my '05 Hornet 900 (only bike I ever bought new) that has taken me round most of Europe. That is a wonderful bike and the naked styling has probably helped me keep my licence . Mr.

If your into bike sounds the rsv4 factory is just like a MotoGP bike.

Has a clever valve in the exhaust which opens above 5k to get passed mot and noise regulations.

Go listen on YouTube.
