well i was going to have a steak and red wine pie tonight.. but someone had a better suggestion (the ankle biter)

She wants a chicken casserole... home made of course!

So I've been in the kitchen for the last hour preparing it, and it's now in the oven.... roll on 7pm.

What's everyone else having today?

Omg, I spent 3 flipping hrs cooking chicken gumbo, Jamie Oliver style from his American cook book. It's absolutely delicious but takes way too long! I ate it with rice. I would definitely recommend this recipe if you have the time.

That sounds delicious.

I often make paella which is a bit of a faff and does take a while but it's definitely worth. it.
