It depends what you mean by messers. You may have found people people who are pretending to be something they are not (which is what I would class as a fake) or you may be talking about people who aren't as into you as you would hope. I can't tell from here. Luke

Not really come across many fakes. Once in a blue moon a brand new "couple" profile will message asking for pics, and I'll instantly suspect it's some guy with a paper thin idea of subterfuge. Happens very rarely though.

Yes there are blokes who pose as women to get attention, and couples who've split where the guy keeps the couple profile instead of a new single male profile, but other than that, well....

Amazing the people on here who can’t get a meet and blame everyone else. Pleased to see this thread supporting the no meets during Covid, we aren’t that desperate to meet but we are real people.

It's practical and reasonable to assume that most people won't find most other people attractive enough or to share similar reciprocal needs mutually. It takes some time for people to get to know others enough to be able to decide if they would share enough satisfaction. They can't just look at a few pics and profile text and be able to decide. If it's more than 1 person to meet you, that involves other people to be sure to be satisfied too. It's not instashag. And it's not messing to take all the time that you need to be able to feel safe and trusting of another. It's the right thing to do.

Fakes, timewasters etc are labels thrown out too readily by people who frequently need to adjust their expectations, as it's often not the others but themselves who are out of step.

Focus on what you can control

There are full on fakes on here i got asked by a couple (well made out to be a couple) to come round and join them after chatting with them for a few days i knocked the door at 9.30 at night for the people there to say thy didnt live there as soon as i came back on herr to find out what was going on they blocked me

I had only been on here a couple of days i asked them for a few pics which i was sent a few but no verification pics. I suppose it was all part of a learning curve, i reported them about it and theyve since been removed
