Mine is called Claude.

He is an old soft saggy bellied medium sized bear that my Nan bought me for Christmas when I was a child.

Over to you forumites...

Reveal your teddies name, and any other interesting details about where you got him/her from if you would like.

Great input folks! I should have said *stuffed animal or cuddly toy* not necessarily a teddy bear.

(Not wanting to be stuffed animalist!)

I also have 2 other crazy cuddly critters in my collection.

Olly the Octopus.

&

Wally the Walrus.

No. I only have the 3 stuffies still that I mentioned above.

Never had one called Bramble.

When I was a kid I had dozens!

They filled a cupboard in my bedroom & each one had a different name.

I used to take 1 to bed with me every night, they were on a written rota system so that none of them got left out! Yup, I was even that organised as a kiddy.

Of course you won't. I wouldn't ever part with Claude. It is the sentimental value attached to him.

shits creek

Alfie Bear.

He's over 20 years old. I gave him to girl dog when boy child moved out and she snuggled him for a couple of years. Only chewed his ear a tiny bit. He was washed weekly and would keep guard when girl dog was sleeping.

When girl dog died, Alfie Bear came back to me, and he makes me feel a tincy bit closer to my baby girl who I miss terribly

I had a rabbit called snuffles and it travelled with me everywhere, probably longer than it should have, when a previous dog was a puppy she ripped it to shreds but its head was fine so my mum made it a new body out of random material and put it in a onesie off one of my sisters dolls. He was later on joined by a monkey named minkey,a pig called piggles and a weird human thing called dope

BRIDPORT

I’ve had my teddy bear since I was a baby. I could almost count on my fingers the number of nights that I’ve not had it with me. If I stay anywhere the bear always comes with me. When I was a kid even smuggled it onto cub scout camp, got some ribbin’ for that.
