Maybe it's the COVID-19 pandemic, I don't know. I just fat and ugly at the moment, I am feeling so low and don't know how to snap out of it.

We all go through this sort of thing. What do you normally do to make yourself feel good about yourself? Do you have supportive friends you can reach out to, hobbies you can throw yourself into?

near Merry Hill shopping centre

I’ve put a stone and a half on during this lost half a stone again, but now feeling like fuck it, only the fear of facing my diabetic nurse, is keeping me half in line it’s been a very odd and hard year and I don’t see it getting better soon.

Stay off here, it's not the best ace to be when in a low mood take it from me, rejection stings alot worse and any attention you do get is clouded in paranoid thoughts.

Get yourself doing some physical exercise or maybe a new hobby.

Nothing seems to be able to snap me out of it. I go for walks to clear my head, I through myself into work and busy it.

Sadly no I don't have many friends, I nearly lost my eldest son a few years ago and my friends ran a mile and didn't want anything to do with me. I needed them and they weren't there.

I am sure I will snap out of it it's me being silly

I dealt with stuff similar during the pandemic, I bought weights to workout with in my flat, so maybe you could try that or if you trust the gym, give it a go.

Me personally I hate to put on weight lol, I immediately go into exercise and dieting mode.

Also you can try intermittent fasting. I currently do the OMAD (one meal a day) and it works wonders for me even with light exercise and it gives. w flexibility with what I eat. Hope that helps, because I know what it feels like to put on weight so I really do empathise because it does play on your confidence a bit.

Cheers bruv.

It's ok to ask for help. Seek support. Your GP if you need to.

You're not being silly. This is hard.

Throw yourself into something mentally taxing as a hobby, something you find rewarding. It will build energy and endorphins. Or at least distract you.

Big hugs op. Some great suggestions on here and agree the best way is to feed your brain with other stimulus, new hobbies and the like, anything that gets you so focused you can't think of anything else. Physical workout is also great as it will leave too tired to stress hopefully.

Just remember this is temporary and the sun will stick it's head back out of the clouds, time is what you have to beat and then when you DO beat it go out, join some clubs and make some new and decent friends.

We might not be able to meet or arrange meets or socials or go to clubs. Right now we all need each other for support.

My weight has sky rocketed. I diet and exercise. I need dancing or sex to lose more but chances are slim.

Yes, conscious of it.

Anxiety is a fear for many. You have support here if you need it.

There is no blame, embrace who you are and be happy with him, all of us are more than skin and bone and no matter how we view ourselves when we look in the mirror others look at us with very different eyes. Beauty is on the inside bud.

Once you've learnt to accept yourself that's the time to say i can still be just that little bit more and strive for some goal or personal ambition.

As above you got support here

OP, sounds to me like you need a chat with your GP, as you may be suffering from depression. If you need a chat feel free to pm me anytime. Happy to listen and not judge. X

"Thank you"

You're very welcome bruv, I'm across here by myself away from my home country for the first time, I suffer with anxiety and depression so I went through some very dark places, all while studying for a Master's degree so yea it is tough, but you'll make it and I always use the quote to inspire ppl.

Don't matter how bad you think your life is, once you have blood pumping through your veins and breath in your lungs you can turn any situation, it may not be quickly, it might take time but you can always turn it around, don't give up hope and don't quit.

Be a champion bruv.

I am here to give any support, be a friend or a listening ear for anyone suffering from mental health issues.

I have been in that Dark place and know just how difficult, hard, painful and challenging it can be.

So don't feel alone. Reach out anytime you feel like having a chat.

This is exactly the reason we started Tuesday night star jump club. We lift the heaviest weights we can find, we then invite a random woman out (usually the same one) drink beer , eat meat and perv at her arse all night. It’s not the answer but it helps....

Pandemic is having a huge negative pull on everyone's mental health. Have you tried talking to your GP?

As another person stated places like this or any social media are not good when you're down. Take a small break, go for a run, try new exercise and hopefully you will pull yourself aroubd
