"Next up for me is The Search Party by Simon Lelic. I’ve been saving it for this month - a 16 year old goes missing in the woods, 5 friends set out to find her. They aren’t just friends, they are suspects and not everyone will make it home alive... a perfect Halloween thriller full of twists " I've only read one of his: The Child Who. I didnt really get on with his writing style but the story was a really fascinating one. Hope you enjoy it!

He’s a new author for me, so I’ll have to see, if the write up / reviews are to go by and it grips me from the start all should be good

"Having just finished reading a book, this is a question I need an answer to. There are just so many to choose from. It might be time for A Materialist Theory of the Mind." My reading list is a mile long

"Having just finished reading a book, this is a question I need an answer to. There are just so many to choose from. It might be time for A Materialist Theory of the Mind. My reading list is a mile long I've got about 60 books altogether in small 'to read' piles dotted about the house." I haven't counted and shudder to think

"My reading list is a mile long" I measure mine in years. Pre-covid, I'd get through about a shelf a year, and there are about six unread shelves. This is what happens over time when you buy books at a slightly higher rate than you read them. That's not counting the maths books. They take far longer to read, and I know I'll never get through all of them. The shelves above my computer are a daily reminder of mortality.
