Today i saw my mum at the hospital. I went up to hand some things in and the nurse brought my mum to the ward door whilst i stood outside. We managed to chat for 15mins so it was a weight off my mind knowing she is feeling and looking as well as can be expected.xx

I love it when my garden looks neat and tidy but it doesn't happen very often as I really don't like doing it.

Was singing ‘who took the cookie from the cookie jar’ and baba would shake his head when I said it was him.

And then later on he shouted ‘cookie’. It was so cute so I gave him a cookie

And he’s learned to say ‘Hangus’ which is the name of his giant (and when I say giant, I mean giant. It’s the same size as me) monkey who he cuddles

Oh i have had a busy day at work , but my friends made me smile . They are a great bunch ansi had a wingey 5 minutes , they took the micky out of me ans we all ended up laughing .

So i bought a big bag of sharing Cadbury heros and we split the lot . Mmm scrummy , shared sweets are so much nicer

I caught the last 30 minutes of Rio Bravo on TV. It was the last movie my Dad and I watched together, he loved Westerns. I laughed, because we argued all the way through the movie, as always. The next day, he took that walk into the sunset and I had to let him go!

Though I am concerned the watertightness of the swim hat may get compromised by the pointy prick of the needle "

Its a swim hat made from polyester, not silicone

I didn't know such hats existed till today, anyway, all needs labelling for nursery swimming lessons

A couple of palms - one is a yucca, no idea the other is (need to Google around a bit).

I saw an elderly couple that were clearly very much still in love.

I missed out on meeting 3 out of 4 of my grandparents, so I think about what they were like when I see these sort of moments.

Sunshine was a lovely bonus today too!

Mine was talking to my Mum on the phone. I've only seen her twice since February because of CoVid and miss her like crazy. Our phone calls help us to stay connected and close.
