I've had it done to me with a silicon vibrating rod. Felt like I was going to wee myself for a start, but I kept with it and it was awesome.

I also used a metal sounding rod on the guy who had done it to me. Best done keeping it upright so that it's comfortable inside them.

Definitely sterilise, use plenty of lube and take it slowly.

I do it to myself, I have an 8mm stainless steel sound. When it gets into your prostate it feels amazing. I can get all the way into my bladder with it, it feels really nice when it goes through the bladder muscle too. Just got to be very careful lots of lube required.
