I do like fireworks but the idiots that let them off for no reason ruin it. Grrr. Rant over. As the subject line asks:

As its an outdoors event will public fireworks displays still be allowed?

As some twits are letting them off already do we brace ourselves, small children and pets for more home held fire works events?

Deeside

I'm dreading what this year will be like, at least with public displays most people are in one spot. I'm investing in some decent noise cancelling headphones

I've heard whispers of a clamp down of public displays this year, I think the council are gearing up to shut down displays immediately.

I personally have a display at mine every year but I think this year it's going to get out of hand with covid. I myself have decided that I'm only doing quite fireworks this year, let's see how that goes.

Well I hope we can go watch some like the year before at the rugby club not holding out much hope

But supermarkets are already advertising their fireworks for sale which should be banned

This is my opinion!

I agree especially about them being sold already

I was shocked and disgusted when I went shopping and saw them

Why on earth do supermarkets actually need to sell them to the public ??

They only end up near our homes and in the wrong hands

The firework display in Pyongyang today was very impressive and extremely well organised.

Perhaps we should allow only displays put on by third world military dictatorships to go head.

On a mooch

All cancelled around here but I’m sure there will be the usual home fireworks

North Bucks

Wouldn’t mind if it’s just one night as I can keep the horses and animals reasonably under control for a night. But seems to go on for two weeks round here.

Be a lot more home displays this year.
