Loyalty can be dangerous if it’s blind loyalty. Loyalty needs to be treated with vigilance to stop anything chaotic from developing.

It should be repaid by not being a dick.

Youre equating a fb to a shampoo brand?

"Youre equating a fb to a shampoo brand?"

On the lines of “wash and go”

There's no value to loyalty towards a brand or a company. There's no reason to be loyal.

Here and There

I think when talking about people, loyalty should at least be respected and appreciated. I don’t think necessarily rewarded.

I ask for my loyalty to be rewarded every time I renew any insurance policy, if it isn't I go elsewhere.

I'm loyal to friends I don't expect to be rewarded for it but I do like loyalty in return

Central

There's limited loyalty from businesses, unless enforced or they calculate the financial value and perceive potential losses. We made the error of perceiving businesses as if they were a person.

I've been very loyal to airlines and hotels, amongst other things. Humans are creatures of habit and prefer the known to the unknown, in general. That human trait is relied on and abused by businesses, hence new customers getting better deals than existing loyal ones. Our inertia props up many organisations that treat us with contempt.
