To compare the number of available women vs available men, I've just done a quick search both as a man looking for a woman and as a woman looking for a man and all other criteria are the same. The numbers of 'Online now' people came back as 4 for women and 100 for men!

This is very crude analysis and doesn't factor in TV/TS, couples or same sex searches but is an indication of the landscape.

And it feels like this isn't good for either men, who have too much competition, or women who get too many messages.

What is your experience of this?

Very interesting. I'll be honest, when I first joined, I thought it would be a lot easier than it is to trade messages back and forth and didn't really respect the effort you had to make even beyond sending a good first message.

Now, I don't even really send the first message and just contribute to the forums for some flirty banter and if I get a message as a result, it's a bonus. I've been humbled and my expectations really fell off a cliff

The ratio is skewed but so are some people's expectations of this site. In reality the man / woman ratio only frustrates men who think Fab is a dick docking app and women who don't use filters well.

People who see Fab as a place to interact with other people ( rather than a browser for finding disposable human sex dolls ) usually are not that affected by the ratio.
