If I remember correctly a crumpet is cooked in a ring giving it height, where as a pikelet isn't so they are thinner and can be larger in diameter

I think the general consensus is

Butter comes first choice

(I’m totally guessing here)

Cheese second

Peanut butter /jam / chocolate spread third

Marmite fourth

And everyone else’s choices

I love lots of different choices!

Just butter is delicious

Chocolate spread absolutely delicious

Butter and jam yummy

Pate ! It’s so good!!

But I think if I Had to choose I do love my crumpets in the morning with grilled bacon and poached eggs! It’s soo good!
