Metallica tried to knock thin lizzie for the royalties to whiskey in the jar claiming it was an old Irish folk song. They didn't realise that Phil had changed the lyrics for the thin lizzy version and they had to pay up

Yea you can actually, I've seen a deck that has a usb cable attached so you can connect it to your computer and record the tune. X

Well I have copied some of my old vynils onto my lappie by just using an audio cable from the 'Tape' output on my amplifier to the mic input on my lappie.
