I don't often feel strongly enough about anything to bother contributing but did on that one and it got closed as I was typing!

I think it's that people have already clicked on the thread to reply before the maximum posts has been reached...so even if it's taken them a little while to compose their post it is still uploaded because they had started to respond before the thread closed.

Or they deliberately wait until after the thread has closed to get the last word.

It took me nearly half an hour to read that thread! omg there's some mental people about! Still shaking my head...

It was a very good debate and no fighting (not much). Loved reading it although still looking like this:

I'm on your side, I feel very strongly about it too!! I was cheering you on! My little guy is more important to me than anything and it's the main reason I'm here reading forums and not meeting. I would never bring a stranger round or go to a house where there were kids, of any age. Or even housemates in the same house.

And I didn't think you were rude or offensive at all. I think you're brilliant!

aww thanks. yea i dont even introduce my son to potential bfs til i know it is serious so why would i even consider playing with my son in the house lol he goes to his dads at weekends so to me my time with hm in week is our precious speacial time and no one is going to interupt that

If you have a reply open but not submitted then you can still submit it after the thread is closed.

Some people have it down to an art form
