I watched the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still last night which was F'ing awful.

Name & shame some bad remakes folks.

The film of Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy, it was truly awful. The original series on the telly was great.

i will never forget the people who remade "the italian job"... way to ruin a classic...

also will never forgive the people who tried to adapt the book "captain corelli's manodlin" into a film... thats 2hrs of durge i will never get back.....

Thats one of my favourite books, the film was utter crap xx

Hollywood is no longer about making films, but about making money.

Hence the deluge of Re-makes, sequels (prequels etc.) and Conversions from TV Shows and Comics.

There's a difference between reinterpreting a story (as shakespeare did) and copying the original with a new star in it.
