But if detective Barry finds that box, he’s found the paper clip. It isn’t a specific paper clip. It’s just a paper clip. Be imaginative. Hide it with the other paper clips sure, BUT WHERE ARE YOU HIDING ALL THE PAPER CLIPS THEN?!

yeah, I'm a carpenter. I can remove a skirting in 10 seconds, so I just need to prize a few inches of it off the wall, drop it in, then seal. Max 2 mins work.

Downstairs: lift the small sewer pipe access cover, and stuff newspapers up the inlet side to block the flow from the upstairs loo.

Nip upstairs and flush the paperclip down the loo.

Undetectable by magnet or metal detector.

Hope he doesn't flush the upstairs loo so often that he fills the pipe up and the loo overflows.

Any volunteers to recover the paperclip? For a small reward, of course!

I could have my boiler apart and put back together in 5 minutes so it's going inside the condenser matrix.

If it can be on the property but doesn't have to be inside the house then its its being tucked up under the fascia boards on the mooring to the canal at the bottom of the garden.

I would apply chewing gum to the top of it and put it on the floor right where you walking in. Put a distraction piece up hight to keep you looking up as you walk in. Then when you step on the paper clip it will stick to the sole of your shoe. Then it will always be with you but you'll never find it anywhere you look.
