Just renewed my now tv subscription for the winter and looking for recommendations.

Last time I had it I watched

Billions

The Blacklist

Chernobyl

GoT

True Detective

Just added Das Boot and Robin Williams: Come Inside

They have just filmed the new series"

I just finished season 4 and immediately looked for season 5, filming now. I believe there’s a film about Ciro (the immortal) so I’m going to search it out.

I hate Suzie - Surprisingly funny adult comedy with Billie Piper.

Gangs of London - very violent but in the style of Layer Cake/Snatch/Lock Stock if you like those sort of films.

Chernobyl - Stunning drama which rightly won lots of awards.

Tin Star - Gritty good/bad sheriff drama with an interesting story.

Sally4Ever - Very funny and cringe-worthy adult comedy with Julia Davis

My Brilliant Friend is based on the Neapoliten Novels by Elena Ferrante (which are also worth reading).

You could also try The New Pope and the sequel The Young Pope - not in Italian but made by an Italian director (Paolo Sorrentino) and starring Jude Law as the first American Pope.
