Just asked Mr and he reckons you’ll be fine to plant them but get them in in the next few days. He has always said he watches gardeners world for reasons other than to just ogle Frances Tophill.

Probably a wee bit early for next year. I would wait till the turn of the year and cover them indoors to force the bulbs for early spring

Once they have flowered Indoors let them rest for a while in the pots and set them out doors after winter they won,t flower for spring but they should the next year the flowers and stems will space out as time goes on you may lose some but those that establish themselves should come up and flower for a number of years..

You'll be fine. The season for them to bloom are from November- January we get them to sell in the shop for the Christmas period.

Then they come in spring time. But plant them somewhere slightly sheltered not out where they'll get hit by bad frost. Florist advice here btw
