I love it when people give pets human names. Last week there was a woman trying to persuade her red setter to come out of the sea by shouting "Audrey, naughty girl! Audrey! Aaaauuudreeeyyy!". Had me proper laughing.

A mate of mine adopted a senior cat called Wayne Rooney. She desperately tried to change its name and ended up calling it Mooney.

That’s just wrong.

Some cracking names here that beats my late dappled cat. Acquired him on burns night and he was coloured like an uncooked Haggis. So Haggis it was.

My old man was Monty. A Jack russell who was so wide, he could'nt wear a collar. He would just walk out of it, as his head was smaller than his body. He could eat all human food, including choclate and not be sick. He lived to the grand age of 19! He's been gone now almost 2 years, still talk about him every day.

If I see a black dog I always say "come here Snowy",or a white dog " come here Blackie ,or ginger,

always makes the owner smile at least...

The dogs, being partially colour blind ,seem to take it in their stride,as they're chewing my leg orf !
