Shameslessly stolen from Sparkles who is on the hunt for new local friends in the South East....

This is for everyone in Fab's East Midland area looking to find new friends, chat and maybe enjoy some socially distanced coffee under the current circumstances...

Add your name if you would like to make some new friends and do some online mingling with some local people

Respect filters and remember, no obligation to add people if you don't want to ... Peace out

Isn't Fab's idea of the East Midlands *massive*, though? Like, "Includes Norfolk" levels of fuck huge?

"I'm in the East Mids but knowing my luck, it'll be someone else in the East Mids that's 120 odd miles away

Cambridgeshire is classed as east mids on here

I feel like this is the equivalent of legs wide open bit of Fab

It does make me wonder at what point the East Mids become South East on here

From where I am I’d say Northants. I think Beds is classed as south east. Not sure. "

Beds should be East Anglia but I think Fab lumps it in with the South East (but there is an East Anglia chat room).

But with very good transport links anyone in Beds can easily reach East Midlands, South East and London. Anyone in, or near Beds, can swing three (or four) ways

East midlands boundary is a little south of the north Pole and bordering Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands. The South East is roughly the recently created Kent passport area.

Fabs boundaries were created when Doggerland was still in existence, some of which counts as East Anglia. The rest of Doggerland, quite rightly, counts as East Midlands.

As global heating is a fluid process, with further sea level changes coming along, it's not really worth changing borders again
