Burton Upon Trent

Hello is it just me or i am so bored of just being at home. I miss going out and not having to use a mask. I understand the rules and with me being nhs i understand but I just want to breathe proper. I miss going on random days out and just being spontaneous

You can still go out.

Take yourself off to the countryside or a quiet beach and enjoy the outdoors.

You can walk for miles and hardly see anyone in some areas.

We are completely the same, especially when it comes to fab miss the club’s socialising as much as anything else but know the risks means it’s not worth it, think not being able to go makes us miss it even more

I miss some things and the easy way of life but I’m still going out I’m just doing things differently. Enjoyed a lovely day at the zoo on Sunday

I still get out.. Either cycling or for walks. I've done some long walks in my local area, streets I've never really seen properly until this year! No mask needed

What was the zoo like? Was it weird and lots of restrictions? Hope you had a lovely day

Don’t be afraid - go outside and enjoy the fresh air. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by all the doom and gloom in the news but the vast majority of people are unaffected by all this, so don’t let it get the better of you. Good luck OP!

Its crippling me at the moment as I ve worked long hard days 6 or 7 days a week all year in the wilds alone and Im getting more solitary as silence kicks in. I was a dancer, now I cant find a reason to dance..dont listen to music as it reminds me too much. I love my work and the places but now Im defined only by work with no holidays or noisy party breaks in sight. Yes Im lucky many would say, I still have work...true...but everyone needs a break. And as for socialising masked...I wear masks and safety gear in my work..so dont want it in my social life as well. I ve not socialised once this year.

I miss dressing up and putting make up and heels on. Missing the clubs, socials and parties. I miss seeing all my swinging friends. Life is pretty dull just now.

Yes, it is all a bit depressing right now but there is fun to be had out there - just have to be creative. You look stunning, by the way.
