Water leak

Not that kind!

I have had a pipe leak upstairs and it’s come through the ceiling with a huge bubble of water forming.

I’ve isolated the leak, should I pop the bubble? I’m scared my whole ceiling is going to cave in

Yes, release the pressure. Put a bucket underneath for the water obviously

I’ve done it, now have a couple of rather large holes in my ceiling but at least I saved my kitchen!
