Chalk it up to experience and move on.

No point dwelling on it. Shit happens, unfortunately

Define ghosting. On here when you have chatted to someone a couple of times and they disappear. Or someone that you know and have met?

Not a lot you can do is there. Annoying as it is you’ve just got to suck it up and move on.

I'm not sure if I actually had a ghosting experience recently but here goes:

A guy who'd contacted me a few months ago got back in touch and invited me to his place for fun. I went over and we got naked. He became aroused quickly and attempted to arouse me too but I wasn't feeling it and so asked him to stop. I dressed and made for the door when he tried to block my path, calling me "selfish". I felt empty afterwards and disliked myself for what had taken place. He blocked me and I've no desire to see him again.

It depends on how its done.

If its something that's been months in the planning and then when a date is offered or set and they just dissappear then I'm out, they had their chance and blew it and unless their reason is totally genuine and justified then they won't be getting a second chance.

As horrible as it is, unfortunately its a case of chalk it down as experience and move on. It's happened to me fairly recently, said persons number is now blocked so even if they wanted the chance to come back, they can't. I'm worth more than that.

I get that. I was "friends" with the guy that's just done it to me for over a year, fucked off out the blue.

Huge hugs lovely as I've been told by someone who isn't a dickhead

Sometimes OP. People aren’t what they seem and tell you things that aren’t true. If it’s on here, block and move on. In the outside world just don’t engage with them. They truly aren’t worth your time or worry

. There is always a brighter tomorrow (we can hope! ) To engage with them or try will flatter their ego, it is essentially what they want. I don’t think you signed up for that, did you?

Be well

I've experienced it with so many people over the years, and a few women on Fab too... usually see it as they luv the attention and so move on when they find a new friend to massage their ego.

Nonetheless, it's a part of modern society now. So get used it, get used to being let down

Move on. There's 100x as many guys on here as ladies. Some are fakes some find other options, some have partners who aren't aware, so sadly it'll happen again too.

Why waste any time replying to someone who isn't going to be there. If you haven't the time to reply to all the genuine guys why would you even consider responding to a ghoster?

I got ghosted after knowing someone 4 months. That was rough. Left me wondering what was so wrong with me. Then I realised that there was nothing wrong with me he wasn’t man enough. I eventually managed to contact him - as I was worried something had happened to him and wished I hadn’t bothered as he was vile.

Move on and forget. I’ve had it twice from guys I really liked, one still not a clue why, other found himself a girlfriend but took a month of ignoring me to tell me.
