No summer can't last longer - it has had it's time. It is time for autumn. Crisp mornings, less daylight, the fading glory of nature - best time of the year.

Cold blast of wind in the face, a drizzle under grey skies - perfect for dog walking

Near Wells

Christmas is in December, not bloody September.

Enjoy the last of Summer and Autumn, then we can enjoy Christmas when it's very dark and cold, not now.

Sorry to tell you, summer is definitely over. I'm in a winter dress, opaque stockings and boots today.
