I think I need a balance of spooning and sleeping alone. I've slept alone for nearly 12 years now. It's a hard habit to break.

I am however, very fed up of being woken by my alarm. I'd far rather the feeling of a gorgeous man snuggling in close, kissing my neck and sliding inside me.

A girl can but dream.

I visit my other half every weekend.

We go to bed together, snuggle up and fall asleep. Then I move out to the spare bedroom, so we both get a decent night's sleep.

In the morning, I wake up, freshen up and crawl back into her warm bed. Cold feet and hand alert! This is how I wake her up and snuggle up and rudely awake her by gentle touches...followed us upsetting the neighbours, ahem and finishing off by making breakfast.

Works just fine for us, the weekdays are for recovery, LOL.

I'm the same as many others have said.... Love being able to star fish and kick the covers off if to hot. Plus not waking up halfway through the night with a dead arm is always a bonus But there are some night when you need to feel flesh on flesh as you drift off.

Yep. In a way its even worse when your in a relationship and live apart. We often go to sleep together over the phone but its not the same. Sometimes I find my self snuggling up to a spare pillow to fill the physical void she leaves but nothing compares to having My Girl in my arms or her head resting on my hairy chest as I drift off. Even better to wake up and find her next me and knowing I'm always free to slide myself inside.

If I dont have company (which is half of the time) the cat that owns me comes and takes the bed over.

She begins by rubbing her head against any part of my body that is exposed (dont get wierd ideas). From there she decides where I can sleep by consistantly padding until she gets where she wishes to be which is usually the middle of the bed.

From this point I am usually balanced on the end of the bed with the quilt between my legs and covering around half my body. If I am lucky she will at this point settle down and sleep but if she feels like it she will then begin to clean herself.

This means I am now laid in the dark, usually cold and uncomfortable listening to the noises of her mouth and teeth as they systematically wash her all over mixed with the loud purr she likes to produce.

At this point I begin to wonder if there is anything on late night tv.

In the middle

I can’t sleep with another person in the bed, I fidget around too much and I like my arms n legs in certain positions (basically sprawled out)

I can cuddle for about 5 mins then get too hot n flustered so have to move away
