Epsom

Why is it the worst job ever?!

Managed to pack 3 boxes today, yet shredded a black bag full of unwanted bills/letters/rubbish

How do people live in minimalistic homes?

Decluttering sucks

It’s all so exhausting...

Be worth it when you've moved OP.

Good luck!

I moved a week ago. Luckily I didn't have much but it was still a ball ache.

Packing and moving is a pain in the arse. Good luck and have wine or Gin or some form of alcohol. It helps!

I’ll be moving soon and have started decluttering. Don’t you find it’s really relaxing and so rewarding when you take those bags to the charity shop? Keep going, it’ll be worth it

I've moved so many time in the past 10 years that I'm used to it now. First I pack stuff I don't use regularly and keep it in a corner somewhere. Then I book time off so I have at least a few days either side of the move for the rest. As you say, use it as an excuse to throw stuff out. I also try and get at least the kitchen and bedroom 99% unpacked on the moving day so you can at least comfortably eat and sleep.

I love it! I have done it over twenty times and I'm about to do it again. In the last two years alone I've moved three times.

All you need is ruthlessness and packing tape.

This made me chuckle! Yes have been told to be ruthless and have two rolls of packing tape, let’s see how long until I loose one roll!!

I’ve not move for 7 years and have managed to fill a one bed flat up! Before used to move all the time and own hardly anything
