Hit tubs are they worth buyingand cost

Are hot tubs worth it sher keeps on to me wanting one i think they will be like the sandwich maker rarely used and shoved to the back of the cuboard.

Have to find someone to get in theirs to test.

We got a temporary inflatable one just at the start of the crisis. Has been great for all that use it. Was around 750.

If you want a proper built in the garden on that costs quite a bit more.

Depends what sort you want.

Inflatable for 4 people around £500, not bad

Fixed around £3000 better,runs off 240v but can only have pumps or heater going off a socket.

Fixed around starting at £4000 would need a 32 amp supply from your distribution board. Multiple pumps and can have heater going at the same time. These are great if you can afford it

A proper fixed 32 amp if you can afford it is worth it.

I found when I had a inflatable one it was more hassle than it’s worth. Costs a fortune to run, basic filter, not good in cold weather and has bubbles not jets.

My fixed one I change the filter about every 2 weeks or so. Water change every 3 ish months and throw chlorine in every few days. Loads of jets. Costs less to run than inflatables but your still looking at about £40-60 a month extra on the electricity bill

Depends if you'd get much use out of it. They're not for me but if you like to relax in one then go for it.

Don’t I know it my bills are immense but were much worse with the inflatable

I keep considering turning the hot tub off and emptying for a while but then I think it’s a 7k tub it would be a waste

We got a Layzspa as a trial run to see if it was something we'd enjoy, and we love it!

When we're both at home and interupters are all in bed we love spending time in there.

We've put the world to rights, washed away stresses and watched meteor showers in there... As well as some very naughty times and a guest or 2.

We will be defintely be upgrading if/when the inflatable packs in.
