Most of the time I don't but it depends on the person and situation. If they're far away then it's a bit much travelling for a couple of hours and it's nice to spend decent time together when you're unlikely to see each other again any time soon. Also some people you just really click with beyond sex and enjoy spending a nice weekend together. Some people aren't a fan of sharing a bed and prefer their own space, others find going to bed alone after an evening of intimacy not a pleasant feeling. Personally I'm happy with either as I enjoy both my own space and being able to collapse into bed and fall asleep together and then have more sex in the morning

. It's all about finding out what you each want and figuring out what works for both of you. Setting personal boundaries is important too. I'm personally a fan of both being quite blunt about this. For example, if I've stayed over at their place I hate the awkward part in the morning of not wanting to overstay my welcome but not wanting them to feel I've rushed off if they were hoping for a lazy morning in bed and I don't want to leave someone else feeling that awkwardness if they stay at mine either. It's much easier to just have a conversation about this and be honest. Don't say to someone "you can hang out as long as you like" if you don't mean it. It's perfectly acceptable to set a time you want someone gone by, even if you just want your place to yourself to mong in front of the TV alone

I didn't used to bring men to my home for safety reasons at all so obviously no overnights. Then I met my now OH who lived on the other side of England and I changed my rules as he was staying in mine over the weekend. At the time we were still just FWB so it was something completely new. I blame that for falling in love with him

I have a bit of an emotional/intimacy block when it comes to sleeping next to/with other people. I’ll share a bed with someone, but unless I 110% trust them I would be awake all night and probably trying to sleep on the very edge of the bed so not to touch too much if I do actually fall asleep.

However if I find the right connection and trust, the affection and intimacy of being close to a fwb overnight or over a weekend becomes magical. The skin to skin touches, listening to the others heartbeat as they doze off, feeling their breath on your neck as they snuggle in behind you and pull you close...

We hired a hotel for our first meet and it had 2 double beds in the room so we agreed the lady could stay the night. It made me feel uncomfortable to be honest, I’d rather all play and let things come to a natural end then go our separate ways and sleep, it was awkward knowing when to call it a night and she seemed to think one of us would share a bed with her, then we had the uncomfortable politeness in the morning. I wouldn’t stay overnight again (unless it was just 1:1). I like Ed and I being able to relax and chat etc. afterwards.
