I used to hate flat sheets, from ironing them, folding them, re-doing the nurses corners when making the bed in the morning. But now, I think they are far superior to fitted sheets! I just can't get the hang of folding them enigmas of the sheet variety.

Just thought I would share.

They're awkward cunts to fold.

That's why I shove them inside the pillowcase when putting them away

I do the same along with the duvet cover.... No more searching for that elusive pillowcase

Oh, I couldn't do that I try to fold them so the top of it looks nearly square and neat, but even that niggles at me

Ummm I don't iron my sheets... And the one person folding means they aren't perfect either - but don't see them in the cupboard

I went on You Tube and watched a video of how to fold them. That's how pissed off I was at the state of my linen cupboard

I've had colleagues show me in past jobs while we were having a laugh at my expense getting in a tiz, and still no use

A friend of mine, irons her sheets once they are on the bed - faster and easier than an ironing board and saves worrying about how they're folded in the cupboard

I ironed my sheets a few weeks ago for the first time in years. I was rather pleased with them

Think if I did that I'd go to the extreme place again
